夏草や 兵どもが 夢の跡(なつくさや つわものどもが ゆめのあと)

Literal Translation: Oh, summer grasses, of the soldiers, the residues of the dreams.

1) Free Translation: Ones which many soldiers dream on here battle field, remain with summer grasses.

2) Structure: 5-7-5

3) Human Being or Human Society: Human beings, (human society, battle)

4) Nature or Season: Season, NATSUKUSA(summer grass) is KIGO of summer.

5) Motivation of making HAIKU: MONONO AWARE, which express the ephemeral nature of dreams.

6) Technics: Image fierce battles to readers, and somethings remained under the soils.

  The contrast of move and still is a mean of expression in SHOGYOU-MUJOU and RINNE. Summer grasses are so green and growed up.
