Literal Translation: Oh, SAMIDARE (rain in may), in the front of the big river, only two houses.

5) Motivation of making HAIKU: This poem seems to HONKADORI. MOGAMIGAWA poem by BASHO is very famous, so the author BUSON tried to learn BASHOU.
6) Technics: BUSON describes about surroundings which BASHOU didn't at all.
Two houses remind us of human lives under stormy condition.
HONKADORI is very economical technique, how about use this one? One of the feature in Jananese culture is collecitve, or aggregative.
